Therapy can be an effective and positive resource to individuals who have experienced a crisis or trauma in their life. Therapy can also be a solution for individuals who seek additional support in their lives in order to grow and heal. It is designed to be a safe space where you or your loved ones can receive support and individualized care.
We currently offer both telehealth and in-person sessions at my office in Charleston, South Carolina. We have availability in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings as well as weekends in order to best accommodate your schedule and needs.
We currently bill $85 for a 30-minute session and $150 for a 50-minute session. We accept cash, check, and all major credit cards.
Please give us a call where we can discuss fee accommodations if needed. Our fundamental believe is that therapy should be available to all and our goal is to serve the community as best as we can. Therefore, we do offer sliding scale fees as needed.
We are currently an out-of-network provider and do not accept insurance. We can provide you with the required paperwork, commonly referred to as a superbill, in order to request reimbursement from your insurance company.
Please contact your insurance provider to inquire about out-of-network benefits and if you are eligible for reimbursement.
Yes. Confidentiality is a cherished part of the code of ethics of the therapeutic process.
Everything we discuss in therapy remains confidential in order to provide a supportive and safe space. The only time there may be exceptions to this policy is in regards to mandated reporting. Legally all counselors and other mental health providers must report when there is a danger of child abuse, dependent adult abuse, elder abuse and/or if you are a danger to yourself or others. If this were to arise, we would work together on the next steps that are needed in order to keep you, or any other person that may be in danger, safe.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
